The overall responsibility for the interior design of the storage areas, offices, galleries and print room was Edward Allen's, and the overall responsilbility for the installation of these fixtures and fittings was first Fred Figgs and then Arthur Griffiths's. Ruby Sharp was one of a team of interior designers working under Edward Allen. The latter also made some of the drawings for the print room himself.
