Beguin, 'Dessins inédits de la peériode italienne de Niccolo dell'Abbate' in <i>Arte Antica e Moderna</i>, nos. 13-16, 1961, pp. 228 and 232; fig. 99C \r\n\r\nCompare the artist's painting of the subject in the Louvre (described and illustrated in the Exhibition Catalogue, <i>L'Ecole de Fontainebleau</i>, Grand Palais, Paris, 1973, \r\nno. I). The pose of the young bride is similar.
