The ballet continued to be danced by successive companies run by Molly Lake, Embassy Ballet and Continental Ballet and the character of a child only appears when it is performed by The Continental Ballet and danced by Rachel Cameron","physicalDescription":"Full length faceless female ballet dancer wearing knee-length ballet dress with white peasant blouse, gathered at neck and full sleeves gathered to elbow with small frill at lower edge and black bodice, over which, from either shoulder to centre waist,  are white bands, edged red, the shoulders covered with 'epaulettes' in clear blue decorated with a flower and edged with red and a white frill.  The skirt is red, over which is a white apron with clear blue ties, set with white vertical bands between which are rows of graduated stylised whtie flowers.  The hair is braided and the white  peasant cap has a small neck frill to the back.  Pencil, watercolour and gouache.
