The hilt, which is thinned at the pommel and the scabbard are of polished <i>tagayasan</i> wood carved in relief with parts of a dragon; on the scabbard is an inscription in four characters reading 'the Dragon arises and makes clouds'. Grey horn fittings and peg, gilt copper <i>habaki</i>.
