Painted with an aerial view of a misty mountain scene in black, blue, brown, red and green overglaze colours. The inscription identifies the mountains as being Huangshan in Anhui province, one of the \"five sacred mountains\" in China and a pilgrimage site; a long flight of steps can be seen leading up to a building with people climbing up. The building depicted is the famous Jade Screen Mansion.
