The figure is set against a mandorla form bordered with a floral scroll in relief. The ground of the mandorla is decorated with landscape elements, these too defined by linear relief. The base of the plaque is cast in a stylised lotus form. On the reverse side are incised inscriptions in Manchu and two in Chinese; one of these is the Qianlong reign mark.
