Backcloth of a dark sky with clouds and to the left a dark tree.  To left a tree and bench, to right an arcade and buildings with a wall topped by railings between; the greater part of the wall has been cut away and fixed within the space is an inner stage with alcoves and central red door, a red screen and grey columns topped by birds with outstretched wings.  The drawing is predominently in shades of blue green and brown.
