Round the neck, which is contracted and short, are three children at play. On the four shoulder corners are two items from the Eight Treasures each repeated on opposite corners. Each of the four sides is decorated with a different subject as follows:\r\n1. A mounted warrior carrying a standard and a lance (above) meets an old man who carries a long staff in his right hand and points towards the left (below). \r\n2. The scene shows a young man (lower left) paying attentions to a lady (middle right); behind the latter another lady, of lugubrious demeanour, is seen standing at the window of a house.\r\n3. The third side shows a man and a woman kneeling with their packs and an umbrella on the ground beside them (below), and making petition to an emperor (above) who sits in state with his standard bearer behind him. The figure of an executioner brandishing a sword appears behind the emperor to the left.\r\n4.
