The Arhat is seated on an almost rectangular base with his legs in a position that is partly <i>Dhyanasana </i>and partly <i>Rajalilasana</i> but with his right knee in the former position and his left knee slightly raised. He turns slightly to his left and his hands, in <i>Dhyana-Mudra</i>, are also displaced slightly to his left. He wears the usual monk's robes with his left shoulder and arm completely covered and a fold over his right shoulder and upper arm.
