This work was made by the artist in London whilst studying at the Slade School. \r\n\r\nIn this etching we see an arched wall divided into a talismanic square containing part of the Arabic text (Quranic cxii, Al Tauhid) referring to the Unity of God. At the side, we observe a male dancer with raised arms whilst in the foreground is a group of women and children with a chicken in the lower right corner. To the left as if to signal hope we see a child sitting in a ray of light.","physicalDescription":"Etching, in ink on paper, an arched wall is divided into a talismanic square containing part of the Arabic text (Quranic cxii, Al Tauhid) referring to the Unity of God.
