It would have been worn in the Central Indian style, as shown here, with one end of the fabric drawn between the legs and tucked into the waist at the back.\r\nThe other end has the decorative end-panel (pallu), which is meant to be displayed. The pallu is a deep panel of gold-wrapped thread.
