White ground with a field pattern with large bold stylised rosettes drawn and spaced, with number of 'petals' ranging from four to ten. The petals are patterned with stripes and chequers. The field pattern is surrounded by a series of borders. The two main border designs (one of lenticular shapes, and the other of butis placed on their sides) are edged by guard borders of chevrons and lozenges. The embroidery is mainly in red and black cotton with details in yellow and green.
