The front undecorated, except for embroidered repeating geometrical rosette in aniline pink, light green and pale yellow on the ends of the enormously wide sleeves, and an applied trim of mill-printed cotton in pale orangey-red with blue and white sprigs and white speckling, around the hem. The main interest is in the embroidery on (presumably) the back of the garment, of which the body is embroidered with closely-placed geometrical rosettes, within a framework of geometrical ornament, and the skirt part patterned with rosettes as before, but with a centrally-placed lozenge divided into four compartments, each enclosing an eight-pointed star-shaped rosettes. This section and the side vents are edged with silvery metal strips rolled up to resemble bagel beads.
