She faces to the front, standing with her right leg crossed in front of her left in the attitude of Krishna playing his Flute.   On her feet are wooden patterns.  She plays on a Vina and Sitar with elaborate floriated head; her hair is done in side chignon of the Nairs.  Instead of the customery parrot, she has as her familiar a dwarf female-attendant who stands on her right side.
