The design shows a full length female figure.  The figure wears a late 19th century high collared light blue chiffon and taffeta blouse with \"Leg of Mutton\" sleeves worn under a wide black waist band or bodice, and flared light blue skirt.  The blouse is edged with frills at the collar, cuffs, and over the top of the sleeves.  The neck of the blouse is completed with a ruffle and a black velvet ribbon decorated with a red rose.  The skirt is decorated with a white quipure trimming down the front and above the hem.  The design has been drawn and painted over a light grey wash.
