Wood covered in gold and silver <i>hiramaki-e</i> and <i>takamaki-e</i> lacquer and gold and silver foil mosaic, with a design of a mountain stream, rocks, peonies and mountain roses. The thin curved edges are decorated with stylised floral scrolls and chrysanthemum flower heads in gold hiramaki-e lacqueron a silver lacquer ground.
