It is carved in partial relief with the figure of the Firmament God Indra striding to the left with one foot resting on the back of his vehicle the elephant AIRAVATA.  He holds in his normal hands a blood-bowl, and in the back hands the vajra and the sceptre of three umbrellas.   Round his neck is a garland of human heads and behind his crown are the two flags of Nepal.
