Lining of red velvet and armpad of green velvet. The shield is convex and is provided with four circular bosses equally spaced round the central symbol of the Rajputs, the flaming human-faced sun. In the deep zone outside this, is a procession of dignitaries on elephants and their retainers on horseback and on foot. Round the rim is a border of scrolling stems of flowers and leaves, within an applied band of lobed petals(?).
