The axe-head has a bevelled curved cutting edge, incurved at the top, with straight back sloped slightly forward.  The back is continued to form a long hollow cylinder, into which a pine rod is inserted to form the complete handle.  The front and handle are incised with vertical lines, zig-zag ornament, and herring-bone pattern.\r\nThe rectangular flat sheath expands outward towards the top and the upper half is open in front, crossed by the horizontal bands of containing slips.
