Represented in the resting posture, on an oval stand.  In form very conventional; trappings and pendant bells are repousse' details.  Also on the stand, in front of the bull, is a small conventional figure of a tortoise- possibly representing Akupara, the tortoise on which the earth rests.  From a Savaite temple in  Madura, Madras.
