Every detail of the figure is conventionalised.  The hands appear to be clothed in mittens, the soles of the feet are flattened, the ears resemble wings, the usual point of the upper lip is straightened, the prickly hair simulates the durien-fruit, and the surmounting 'flame' is inthe form of an elongated lotus-bud.  The eye-brows, creases in the neck. edges of robe and stole, and the wheels on the soles of the feet. are all inlaid in silver. At the cusped top of the skirt is hemispherical boss applied gold.
