He became governor of the Punjab during Shah Jahan’s reign (1628-1658). The mosque is famed for its intricate tile work on the exterior and the ornate and highly detailed frescoes in the interior. \r\nThis detailed drawing is by Mohammed Din who was trained at the Lahore School of Art.
