Its colours and designs are typical of wares made in the city in the 1880s. It was acquired by the Indian Museum in London, probably from one of the exhibitions of the late 19th century, and transferred to the South Kensington Museum in 1879.","physicalDescription":"Seven hexagonal tiles are arranged to form a larger hexagon by the insertion of twelve small triangular tiles. The seven tiles have small hexagonal tiles inserted into the cavity at the centre of each. The larger tiles are all brown-glazed over flowers in white slip; the triangular tiles are all turquoise-glazed over white slip and cobalt blue motifs; the small hexagonal inserts are glazed in blue and white.
