In a white circular mandala the dance is performed by four <i>gopi</i>s and four Krishnas around a six-lighted lamp. The music of the measure is rendered by eight <i>gopi</i>s standing outside the circle; in the background is a throne and forest trees under the starlit sky, and in the forefront are two white shrines on a pink ghat beside the Jumna.
