The cap has a front panel with a button, two ears and an elongated stiffened peak, all made of pale grey polyester jersey. The front panel and peak are printed in khaki and black to indicate the rhino's eyes and nostrils, and two imitation horns of jersey-covered polyester foam have been added, one between the eyes, the other between the nostrils.
