At each end is a narrow door with two hinges and ring handle. The framing is moulded with hollow chamfers. The ironwork on the front has evidently been taken off and re-fixed with new nails after scraping and polishing the panels; the cupboard appears to have been reduced in length. The back and the shelves are of relatively recent date, and also the middle foot.","artistMakerPerson":[{"name":{"text":"Unknown","id":"A1848"},"association":{"text":"","id":""},"note":""}],"artistMakerOrganisations":[],"artistMakerPeople":[],"materials":[{"text":"oak","id":"AAT12264"},{"text":"wrought iron","id":"AAT11012"}],"techniques":[{"text":"hammering","id":"AAT54098"},{"text":"forging (metal forming)","id":"AAT54033"}],"materialsAndTechniques":"Oak and wrought iron","categories":[{"text":"Metalwork","id":"THES48920"},{"text":"Furniture","id":"THES48948"},{"text":"Ironwork","id":"THES251837"}],"styles":[],"collectionCode":{"text":"MET","id":"THES48599"},"images":["2012FJ0054","2012FJ0055"],"imageResolution":"high","galleryLocations":[{"current":{"text":"113 (VA)","id":"THES49916"},"free":"","case":"WN","shelf":"","box":""}],"partTypes":[[{"text":"Cupboard","id":""}]],"contentWarnings":[{"apprise":"","note":""}],"placesOfOrigin":[{"place":{"text":"England","id":"x28826"},"association":{"text":"made","id":"x28654"},"note":""}],"productionDates":[{"date":{"text":"ca. 1400","earliest":"1395-01-01","latest":"1404-12-31"},"association":{"text":"made","id":"x28654"},"note":""}],"associatedObjects":[],"creditLine":"Bequeathed by Mr W.
