The top front of the cabinet has a large elongated diamond shaped loudspeaker aperture with a narrow wooden rib decoration parallel to its two upper edges. There is a continuous thin black inlaid band surrounding this aperture and parallel to its edges. Below this aperture is a rectangular tuning scale aperture with a chrome metal edging. The tuning scale is printed in the form of a circular clock face on a mother-of-pearl background. Below the tuning scale are are three chrome metal control knobs. The whole of the tuning section of the cabinet is surrounded by a solid geometric black inlay.
