In the centre at the bottom is a horned mask supporting a stand containing fruit and decorated with two lions' masks, from the mouths of which hangs a festoon of drapery with bunches of fruit attached to it. Above the stand is a female terminal figure holding fruit on her head. On either side of this figure is a festoon of drapery hanging from a lions' mask, and in turn supporting a trophy of arms. In 1895 the South Kensington Museum (renamed the V&A in 1900), bought over 300 pieces of furniture and woodwork from him, (as well as sculpture and metalwork), at a cost of £11,878. 16s. 9d.\r\n\nIn the V&A Peyre papers, this panel is listed in J. Hungerford Pollen's Report on Monsieur E.
