The lower part is occupied by two narrow vertical panels, carved with leaves, scrolls, circular medallions and a grotesque mask, separated by a moulded muntin, matching the stiles. The door is pierced with two keyholes with cut iron escutcheons and at the top is a long plain hinge-band of the same material, with hand-made nails. \n\nThe back is plain. Both sides cut (full height) with a rebate.
