These inspired the use of a fancy diagonal rib for this 'tweed' effect suit. Three yarns of different shades are knitted together. The flared knee-length skirt and tailored jacket are made from shaped knitted panels seamed together, as in conventional dressmaking.\r\n\r\nA satisfied customer reported that she could go straight to work from the air raid shelter wearing the same suit that she had slept in all night.\r\n\r\n'The perfect suit to pack in that already overcrowded suitcase for a country weekend is a knitted Szanto Model.
