The border of the cloth is decorated with blue silk, embroidered in counted thread embroidery in double running stitch over two threads. \r\n\r\nThe embroidered pattern shows a repeated motif of paired birds, standing either side of a tree within which are two further pairs of birds, one large and one small. Below this is a band with an inscription in lozenges.
