In the centre are a series of eight-petalled flowers linked by stylised leaves. At either end is a curved, serrated edged medallion enclosing a large leaf.\r\n\r\nThe parts of the pattern are worked in cloth stitch with a little half stitch work. All the pieces are edged with a gimp thread and some leaves have raised veins of bundles of couched threads.
