It is embroidered with coloured silk twist in satin, long and short stitches and couched with silver-gilt filé and silver purl in a pattern of large flowers, including carnation and rose, against a vermicelli ground. It is triangular, with a shaped point and 3 short, narrow skirts on each side.  All edges are trimmed with a narrow woven green silk lace (braid), except the top, edged with a narrow silver-gilt woven lace (braid).  There are 5 short loops of ivory silk grosgrain ribbon on each side for fastening.
