It extends to the chest only; there are no legs. As part of this is a feeding bottle, the teat in the mouth and held by the left hand while the right hand is holding the bottle. The bottle is shaped as a circular feeding bottle with an inner glass tube and an outer rubber one. *It is of a type known as a 'killer' bottle because it was almost impossible to clean and therefore germs built up inside. \nThe doll shape has been covered in white tissue paper to represent a long robe with puffed sleeves and a frilled bonnet. At the back of the head is a round label glued on giving the details of the publisher.","artistMakerPerson":[],"artistMakerOrganisations":[{"name":{"text":"Raphael Tuck & Sons","id":"A24332"},"association":{"text":"maker","id":"x40240"},"note":""}],"artistMakerPeople":[],"materials":[],"techniques":[],"materialsAndTechniques":"lithographed thin card and tissue paper","categories":[{"text":"Dolls","id":"THES274380"},{"text":"Dolls and toys","id":"THES48967"},{"text":"Children's entertainment","id":"THES274363"},{"text":"Play","id":"THES274366"}],"styles":[],"collectionCode":{"text":"YVA","id":"THES48593"},"images":[],"imageResolution":"high","galleryLocations":[{"current":{"text":"005","id":"THES343498"},"free":"","case":"","shelf":"","box":""}],"partTypes":[[{"text":"Doll","id":""}]],"contentWarnings":[{"apprise":"","note":""}],"placesOfOrigin":[{"place":{"text":"England","id":"x28826"},"association":{"text":"made","id":"x28654"},"note":"and"},{"place":{"text":"Germany","id":"x28873"},"association":{"text":"made","id":"x28654"},"note":"and"}],"productionDates":[{"date":{"text":"1890s","earliest":"1890-01-01","latest":"1899-12-31"},"association":{"text":"made","id":"x28654"},"note":""}],"associatedObjects":[{"object":{"text":"MA/1/B2745","id":"ARC150378"},"association":"Archive record"}],"creditLine":"Given by Eileen A.
