It is rectangular in shape with a shaped flap. It is couched with silver filé, frisé and purl, silver-gilt strip, spangles and purl, green and red foil spangles in a design of flowers and leaves on the front, and a coat-of-arm with deer, 3 hunting horns and 2 scarabs on the back.
