Each panel is divided into small diamonds, some are solid colours and others contain a small blossom. The design in the lower panel was incorrectly woven.\r\nInner Border: Red/yellow and red/green triangles on white. No outer border, just a red knot.\r\nMain Border: Angular blossoms on blue.\r\nThere is a trader's label in the lower right hand corner indicating that it was sold through Marrakesh.\r\nWarp: Yellow Z2S wool in right half and dark brown Z2S wool in left half. 9 threads/inch (4/cms).\r\nWeft: Yellow or orange wool: 8 shoots after each row of knots; 5-6 sets/inch (2-3/cms).\r\nPile: Wool. Eight colours: dark brown, grey, yellow green*, red*, cream, blue, faded purple*. \r\n* Synthetic dyes\r\nSide Finish: Two cords woven with the weft.\r\nEnd Finish: Lower: weft loops secured with cream wool ending with a plait. 6 cms of kelim in red and then yellow with a wavy line marking the division.
