Modelled red and gilt flames lick round brown rocks and a snake-like monster. The background is gilt and painted to resemble further flames. The head has wild long hair flying backwards. The eyes stare in horror, the mouth is opened in a yell and the whole face and neck contorted. Veins are shown standing out in the neck and there is a bloody open wound on the soul's chest.
