After emptying its contents, the drinker would turn the glass upside-down to ring the bell. The original bell-clapper is missing, but there is an additional bell incorporated in the mount.  The shells from the coat of arms are repeated in the gilding on the glass.","physicalDescription":"Table bell drinkglass, two smooth, applied glass threads around the bowl and one around the rim. The upper part of the body of the bell has three applied moulded masks and three small prunts with a turquise centre. The finial is mounted with a gilt silver bell. The gilt decoration on the bell included three pecten shells, around the mall prunts.
