The character is richly adorned with jewellery and wears a headdress in the form of a gold and sapphire tiara with hanging strands of sapphires, and a gold and sapphire jewelled collar and bracelets of gold set with sapphires on the wrists and upper arms. She carries a gold 'sceptre' set with a large sapphire.  The background is painted in bold stokes of dark browny-grey gouache.
