In the middle are depicted, in a landscape with a town in the distance, a man carrying a banner, and facing him to the right, a woman holding a flower, back in the costume of the 17th century. This scene is set in an architectural framework with columns, above which in two compartments are represented the scenes described above. In the bottom corners are upright oval panels containing the arms of Hans Wendel Scherer and his wife. Between the panels is the inscription: Lendere Hans Wendel Scherer Fr.
