Ovoid shape with a long-neck, and the neck has a bulge below the rim, which is slightly out-turned. Wedge-shaped foot rim. Decorated with four descending chains of flowers and leaves applied in high relief. These curve inwards towards each other at the bottom. Horizontal bands of flower-heads round the lip, above and below the bulge in the neck and round the foot. On the front is painted a figure in a landscape with a castle in the background. A large butterfly is above his head. On the reverse are figures of two Chinese sages below the branch of a tree.
