On the body are five figure-subjects, among which are two representing respectively Cybele in a car drawn by a lion attended by two cupids, one holding a mirror, and the youthful Bacchus in a chariot drawn by a lioness on which a cupid is mounted. Of the remaining subjects two consist of a female figure weeping over an urn placed on a pedestal, and the third of a man and woman in 18th century costume. The short neck has a border of vine-leaves and grapes, and on the lower part of the body is a wide band of reeding.
