Sailing-boats ply the river, which flows southwards into the middle distance. The stretch of water just visible to the rear left is the Shinkawa Canal, the eastward extension of Onagigawa Canal. These canals were dug in the early 17th century to create a transport link with the river systems to the east and north of Edo.","physicalDescription":"Fan print, aiban size.
