The vertical blue banner tells us that the speciality of the restaurant is <i>soba</i>, or buckwheat noodles. The <i>torii</i> gate (the two-column entrance) of the Mimeguri Shrine can be seen across the river, partially cut off by the wooden pillar in the foreground.
