Floersheim\r\nThis group has two figures with big heads and stout arms and an abundant use of red and violet colours, all features which clearly indicate that it was made during the First Period of the Ginori factory (1737-1757). It is possible that the artist who created the model was Gaspero Bruschi, even though it is actually a Copy of a Viennese original that was made between 1744 and 1749, of which there is an example in the Victoria & Albert Museum (inv. C.95-1923, D’AGLIANO2010,p.130, fig.2)with some variations. At the Richard-Ginori factory in Sesto Fiorentino there is a version in biscuit (B-1077) cast in the 1960s from the original model (D’AGLIANO2010, p. 130, fig. 3); in the Museo di Doccia there is an old model in terracotta (inv.1908,D’AGLIANO2001,p.259). A slightly different version is at the Museo Duca di Martina in Naples (inv. 1998). \r\nA. d’A.\r\nBibliography: LANE 1954, plate 60A; GINORI LISCI\r\n1963, plate XXXIII; LISE 1991 (1975), p. 34,\r\ncat. 118 (not illustrated); R.
