At the back is a fountain with a open-mouthed head of a monster over a shell-shaped basin. On the ledge behind the girl is a pot of flowers, and the boy sits high on a scroll on the right, turning towards the girl with his right arm round her shoulder and his left arm raised. The girl turns her head towards him and lifts her apron with both hands.
