The figure-subject is surrounded by gilt scrolls. The decoration is on a <i>bleu-de-roi</i> ground. On one side is depicted the crowning of the Rose Queen at Salency in the north of France. The base is inscribed: \"Marguerito [<i>sic</i>]. The Rose Queen of Salency. Mrs. S. C.
