The top and bottom rows are carved with linenfold, the pattern at the top being enriched with a cable moulding. In the centre the panels are carved with profile heads and renaissance ornament, the central motif surrounded by a twisted cable moulding. From left: an S form grotesque dragon above the torso of a smiling figure in profile, with a wide-brimmed hat; a boy with curly hair in profile facing right, below a scroll; a Janus-type figure with twin male bearded heads in profile left and right, wearing a flat cap, below a scroll; a bearded man in profile, facing left, with curling beard and turban, possibly representing a north African king, below a pair of C-scrolls; the head of a man (possibly a black African) in profile facing left, below a pair of conjoined S-scrolls.\nH:5' 11\" x W:5' 9\".\n\nW.42A-1931 - A section of panelling, with six panels, two linenfold above two figurative designs, above two linenfold.
