Ninety-six patterns were originally stuck in, out of which eighty-one remain.\r\n\r\nThe paper of which the book is made is dated 1824 in the watermark.\n\nNumber twelve is block printed oil cloth.\n\nNumber thirteen has steam colours for the grounding, which include pink, purple, buff and yellow.\n\nNumber eighteen is an imitation crêpe de chine.\n\nNumber twenty-five is a dark single green.\n\nNumber forty is red with elaborate instructions for preparing and dyeing this colour.\n\nNumbers forty-two and forty-three are pink with steam yellow (on forty-two)  and self green (on forty-three).\n\nNumber forty-four is purple and green.\n\nNumber forty five is steam green.\n\nNumber forty-seven is an intense blue colour.\n\nNumber seventy-four is green, steam pink and
