Probably under his supervision Cavino made many medals of ancient subject, which caused lots of debate and controversy towards his status as a medallist. Some see him as a shameless forger, others as an intelligent medallist evoking the ancient world.","physicalDescription":"Medal depicts on the obverse the bust to right of Marcus Aurelius, bearded, wearing cuirass and crowned with laurel.
